Our Nature Connection Program so far!

Research shows that connection is fundamental to our mental and physical wellbeing. This program is based on that simple idea!

The kinds of activities we share are intended to create an environment in which connections can be explored, strengthened, restored or made anew.

The more connected we feel, the healthier and more resilient we can be. The healthier and more resilient we are, the more energy we will have to create a life that is rich with meaning and contentment.

So, we go into the woods and explore our connections to the web of life in all its forms, including ourselves and each other.

Out in nature, amongst the trees, the plants, the insects and the birds, and on the ground of the earth itself we have immersed ourselves in a mix of mindfulness, movement, quiet reflection and self-inquiry, self-compassion, creation and communication... and copious amounts of tea!
And woven through this, is looking, again and again, at what nature has to show us about ourselves and our place in the vast web of things. Again and again mother nature offers paths back to connection. We just need to notice and to take the time to open up to experiencing how we're surrounded and supported by the solid, soothing and inherently life-affirming presence of mother nature who offers us a home and a place in which we do truly belong.

Next week is our final session together, but my hope is that the insights, experiences and moments of peace will stay with us and be a source of support for good.
